NYCM Insurance’s internship program is a gateway to professional development that welcomes students into various divisions within the company. This year, 36 talented interns joined Team NYCM, immersing themselves in our vibrant culture and gaining invaluable hands-on experience.

Beyond the day-to-day tasks, our interns engage with cross-functional teams, lead projects, volunteer, and more. Their experience is enriched with opportunities to collaborate and explore different facets of our organization. 

According to NYCM’s Recruitment Team, the internship offers real-world experiences, fostering teamwork, innovation, and professional growth. The fresh perspectives brought by interns are valued, and the company aims to create a supportive environment where they can thrive and potentially secure full-time roles in the future.

During their internship, interns participated in various activities, including setting up for community events like the Gus Macker 3-on-3 basketball tournament and hosting trivia days for employees. These experiences not only offered practical skills but also fostered teamwork and community engagement.

The People Development team organized special events and activities to show appreciation for the interns, such as a Pickleball tournament and networking opportunities with different departments. These initiatives not only provided fun experiences but also valuable insights into the diverse roles within the company.
